The CR-10 SE features a "Sprite" direct-drive extruder with two gears (1:3.5 gear ratio) that apply a powerful extrusion force of 65 N*. Feeding and retraction are precise and uniform, even with flexible filaments.
The 60W ceramic heater surrounding the hot end ensures the filament fully melts with a flow of 32 mm³/s. The bi-metal (copper + titanium alloy) heat break is excellent for preventing thermal creep; The hardened steel nozzle is wear-resistant and allows printing up to 300°C.
